In the following years he could make a name for himself at small private events in Düsseldorf. 2003 he founded the DJ Team „Sound Lounge“ with two friends and they toured through the most popular clubs in North Rhine-Westphalia. Two years later the crew decided to go separate ways and Kid Kareem continued on his own. At a DJ contest at Checkers Club in Düsseldorf he won the first prize and became resident at Soul Heaven, which back then was probably the most successful urban music event in the federal state.
Meanwhile Kid Kareem is in great demand as a DJ and after his first gigs at Mondial in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Spain he’s getting deserved international recognition as well.
Düsseldorf born Tunesian is also the official Tour-DJ of Blumio and Habesha, whereby he could proove his skillz at festivals like Splash!
Since the end of 2007 Kid Kareem belongs to the resident DJs at B9 in Aachen and is a constant part of the C.R.E.A.M. DJ-Crew – beside Crack-T, Shorty and Maze.
