He began to develop his skills and became resident at the legendary Player´s Ball, at these days the only event where you could spot international top DJs as monthly guests. Charly Murphy caught the interest off some of the biggest names, received requests from all over the country and played gigs as support act for artists such as Snoop Dogg or R.Kelly.

In 2005 Charly Murphy teamed up with his friend Megablast - the Crush Steady Crew was born. They promoted their own events in selected venues and the concept of an indoor block party, better know as Crush, became a huge success.

A couple of years later he became resident DJ at club 3001 in Düsseldorf alongside his friend Crack-T where they invited some oft he biggest names in the DJ game such as Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash, Spinbad or DJ Premier.

Charly Murphy´s sets are a mashed up mixture of Funk, Soul, golden age Hip Hop as well as everything danceable between Rock, Pop and Party Classics, spiced up with 20 years of experience.
