Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM sadly passed away 3 year ago from today.

Right here you can listen to the first part (of three) of the night recorded at 3001 in Düsseldorf/Germany on September 12 2009 – just a few days before he had the fatal plane crash (which happened on Sep 19). I know this set is already floating around in the world wide web but I still would like to share it with you….

You can listen to 16-17 minutes of my warm up set before AM took over. He played for almost 3 hours and did a little back to back Hip Hop classics set with me and the homie Kid Kareem to close the night.

As for most of today´s hip hop or eclectic/mash up DJs – he was a huge inspiration for me…. and a super nice and friendly person as well!
