seeing this movie blew me away. so many things i did not know. absolutly worth it…

Stacy Peralta was one member of the world famous Z-Boys in the Late 70′s. The Skateboard-crew that brought skateboarding to mainstream. As film director and producer in L.A. he got influenced by riots and gang-violence. so he decided to digg deep to understand the phenomenon of “Crips & Bloods”.

With a first-person look at the notorious Crips and Bloods, this film examines the conditions that have lead to decades of devastating gang violence among young African Americans growing up in South Los Angeles.
